Its getting harder and harder to pretend everything is completely fine, for Dora's sake. Of course it wouldn't be fit to act in a feckin' panic because that would scare her. But what with Sirius acting peculiar, possibly something done to his memory, it's... scary. He never seemed like the one to even THINK of going back to the family, but if whatever whoever pulled on him managed to do that..
Would they do the same to Andie?

Today, my daughter asked me why I didn't have purple hair like she did. I honestly didn't have an answer to that besides "I'd look silly in purple". Which I think is completely true.

I don't trust them.. I've never actually said this to Andie, I don't know if she knows it, though I wouldn't be surprised if she knows without me saying anything, but.. it's her family. It probably hurts her that everyone she cared about didn't accept me but burned off the ties with her. But I trust NONE of them. Not even if they came knocking at the door, crying their eyes out and telling her they miss her. ESPECIALLY not if they knocking at the door.
Greyback's threat could be completely coincidental or.. it couldn't. Still, while mulling this over, my first thought was indeed her family.
My next thought was how if it wasn't for me, she'd be still there, but safe.

Our department is next. But I don't see anything broken. So why the fixing? While its a good thing I haven't seen anything like Muggleborn being laid off (thank God), it still feels unnecessary. Then again, this is Lestrange we're talking about, husband to Bellatrix. I doubt telling him to "stop the prejudice" is going to do much.
I don't know what's been going on in the journals but it's been putting me at incredible unease. How good the wards are just from us, it's hard to tell, but if there's anyway to get help... main focus here is making sure nothing happens to Dora.

I'm trying to see the good behind this, honestly. I'm really trying to believe that this will benefit Muggleborn students in which they'll receive an education in wizardry, as well as an easy transition for their families.
Somehow the thought of a group in this society that is based on hatred for people of a certain bloodline is preventing me from thinking positively on this matter.
